This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around New York is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I’ve been frequenting this restaurant for close to two years now and it’s become one of my favorite places to have a quiet lunch/dinner alone or with friends. The food is good and fairly priced for the portion, while the service has always been reliable. My food has always come out in a timely manner whether I ordered my food to go or to stay. The interior of the restaurant feels cozy with an informal atmosphere, where you can just choose your own seating and the servers don’t feel like they’re overly hovering. Overall, it’s lowkey and I appreciate that.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was extremely disappointing. We waited an unreasonably long time for the chirashi dish, and when it finally arrived, it did not match what was advertised. The menu claimed 15 pieces, but imitation crab and tamago were counted toward that number, which felt misleading. The portion of rice was also shockingly small for the price. The udon was equally disappointing β€” very bland and lacking flavor altogether. Overall, the quality and value did not justify the wait or the cost. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this restaurant.

I absolutely LOVE this place and is my go to sushi spot. You cannot beat the lunch special, the service is fast, and the atmosphere is great. A perfect spot to catch up with a friend or it can be a good date night if you sit near the window. And the rolls are so good everytime. 5/5

Prices are good. Food is decent. There was a very unruly customer in the restaurant . . . Drunk and blowing her nose at the table and being belligerent. Apparently she was a regular and this was the first time she was like this. The manager kept asking her to leave and she stayed put. My date lost her appetite but we asked to move to another table so we could finish our meal. The manager finally escorted her out the door as we were finishing. The bill came and no discount. There was not an apology feom the manager. The staff was all laughing at her. Very poor management of the situation and the customers that stayed. The restaurant was not busy and 2 of 3 of them left while she was there. Possible id give it another try as prices were good for the quality of food. Service. Low ranking.

I stopped by today to eat with my daughter and friends. They both ordered sushi, combo D and Alaska roll, I had the chicken teriyaki. They said the sushi was good. The chicken teriyaki was tasty, I only wish it would have had more variety of vegetables. This one came with broccoli and a ton of onions, usually this entree has carrots and zucchini. But the sauce was good, the chicken was well cooked. The place is pretty big and good for all parties. The price was affordable, the staff was to the point, not too friendly, but not rude either. They delivered prompt service. I recommend this place if you are in the neighborhood and are craving sushi.
